Instructional Project for Students with Intellectual Disabilities
The Instructional Project for Students with Intellectual Disabilities offers support and technical assistance to teachers providing instruction to students following the Virginia Aligned Standards of Learning (ASOLs). The ASOLs are the academic curriculum assessed through the Virginia Alternate Assessment Program (VAAP) covering four core content areas: English-Reading, Math, Science, and History & Social Science. The Project develops materials, resources, and training opportunities to assist teachers in the instructional process that addresses the ASOLs.
